Security and NIS 2
The NIS 2 directive asks companies and public bodies to govern cyber risk. Many organisations wonder where to start.

Technical path
First the state of the systems. Then the plan.
We put in order what is there: networks, servers, workstations, backups, access. We flag what is urgent, what can wait, what is missing.
It is a technical picture, useful also to whoever will handle the legal side.
Backup, access, network. The foundations that hold.
We work on what is visible in the systems: backups and restore tests; who enters, from where, with which privileges; network perimeter, updates, segmentation where needed; what to do if a service stops.
These are cyber-hygiene measures. They do not replace the law: they make it practicable.

The perimeter includes the entities named by the directive and, often, relevant suppliers. Public bodies need the same technical hygiene: continuous service, protected data, governed access.

We do not issue legal opinions, fill in the Authority’s platform, or offer a «NIS 2 certification». No private party can certify compliance in place of the Authority. When needed, we work alongside the lawyer you already follow.
